Introduction

BlackOak Alpha Growth Fund was established by two highly experienced longevity asset management companies. We are an open-ended fund which seeks to provide investors with a well-diversified, non- correlated, projected annual rate of return between 10% and 14% after the payment of all fees and expenses. The Fund aims to achieve this objective through the acquisition of secondary and tertiary Life Settlement policies that will be structured and purchased to mitigate longevity risk and other investment and business risks.

A Life Settlement is the sale of an existing U.S. life insurance policy to a third-party buyer. In exchange for providing a cash payment to the seller, the buyer becomes the owner and beneficiary of the policy. The buyer is responsible for future premium obligations and ultimately collects the death benefit when the insured dies and the policy matures.
